Hi. I’m Jose Soto, founder and President of JMS Electric Lighting Designs Specialist. Though I was born in Puerto Rico, I spent most of my life in Brooklyn Heights, New York, where I picked up most of my trade. I have been a resident of South Florida since 1994.

JMS Electric Lighting Designs Specialist is the brainchild of my own experiences with shoddy electricians who would carry out half-hearted and half-finished electrical jobs. After several such nasty experiences, I decided to use my electrical expertise to start my own company – and that’s how JMS Electric Lighting Designs Specialist was created. My aim was and continues to be to provide residents and commercial building owners a complete and thorough electrical installation service.

Along with being bilingual, I have over 30 years of electrical experience and can truly say that I understand the importance of “doing it right, and not twice.” My passion, besides designing game plans, is to keep my clients happy and satisfied by updating them frequently on the work I do for them. This gives them the security and assurance that the job JMS Electric Lighting Designs Specialist does for them is thorough and safe.
